Baseline Assessment
We begin with a short assessment to establish a baseline for each executive or leadership team. The process includes a skills assessment, a short survey and a one-on-one phone call with Think NewCo staff, all delivered virtually.
3-Day Off site Retreat
Planning an off site event that is outside and away from it all is a key ingredient in our leadership development strategy program’s special sauce. Our executive retreat is a 3-day/2-night “unplugged” immersion where business leaders and their teams get a complete break from the daily distractions and chaos. It’s time to reboot your brain and start considering new options. The executive development retreat is where the magic happens, where we introduce our Framework for Focus™, and give your company’s leaders undistracted time and space to look at the big picture. These retreats are all fully supported and expertly guided; we strive for comfort.
Why Retreat? Why Outside?
Sometimes the best way forward is to retreat. This has never been truer than it is right now. We know taking time away is a really big deal. And going outside might sound weird, or scary. It is also essential to Think NewCo’s leadership training program.
Why?
Because radical change doesn’t happen in a conference room. Because you can’t reboot your brain if technology is still available. Because time outside boosts creativity and restores some balance to the picture. Also, because we know that being outside clears your mind like a stiff breeze disperses heavy fog. It’s a big commitment. We get that. But we also know that if you make the commitment, the results will radically change the way you work, for the better.
Virtual Conferences
Virtual meetings with your Think NewCo Cohort provide ongoing insights and inspirations. Each forum is facilitated by us and provides a learning opportunity, group check in & discussion designed to keep executives and leadership teams on track with their newly acquired tools and practices.
NewThink Executive Leadership Network
Think NewCo is building a like-minded Executive Leadership Network. This group of business leaders helps to continue the conversation and provide additional insights. Think of it as an ad-hoc advisory board.

Reflection & Next Steps
Think NewCo pays special attention to practical and tactical plans; our approach includes strategies for process recovery when things don’t work out. Maintaining your vision will require occasional updates and could include another retreat or a custom team building event for your organization. From onsite workshops to group calls facilitated by Think NewCo’s staff, we can build a professional training program to meet your needs. If you already work with a coach, we will provide a guide to use with the group to solidify, strengthen and grow the work going forward. Think NewCo also works with network of coaches who can be sourced for ongoing leadership development.
Our Principles
Many Paths: We aren’t making this stuff up. In fact, we rely on time tested wisdom and current brain science to define our executive retreats. We blend traditional ideas with current research and sprinkle in our own special sauce. Our facilitation combines business expertise, experiential education and professional coaching so we can point you in the right direction.
No Dogma: We don’t do “Ten Steps to Better Leadership”. Instead, we teach business leaders how to make a daily decision so they can clear space in their life and maintain their focus no matter what.
Simply Put: We present our material in language that is clear and accessible. Our goal is to make certain executive teams can immediately use what we teach, no extra research required.
Espresso Shots of Wisdom: Small, powerful and easily digestible ideas are what we go for. We combined simple ideas into actionable plans that produce clear results. Easy peasy.
Simple, but Hard: Understanding our method is not difficult, but implementing it is not exactly easy. We will stay with you as you begin your practice, fall off the horse, recover and try again. We know that staying committed takes support and we are with you.

A Think NewCo off site leadership training program gives teams the unique opportunity to connect and look at the big picture, distraction free. Delivery of Think NewCo’s FRAMEWORK FOR FOCUS™ creates an impactful structure and provides leaders with user friendly tactical and practical strategies to be more effective. Everyone leaves with an actionable, individual plan to immediately implement and optimize performance. Team time can be facilitated by Think NewCo’s staff, an internal coach or the group itself.

Affiliated Group
Think NewCo off sites are a unique plus-one offering for affiliated peer groups such as Vistage or YPO. The retreat setting is ideal for team building, forging member trust and giving the group a shared platform of experience and vocabulary. The Think NewCo FRAMEWORK FOR FOCUS™ gives executives and leadership teams valuable strategies for keeping on task, no matter what comes at them. Each participant will leave with a practical and tactical individual plan that they can immediately implement to optimize performance. The group facilitator will also get a guide for follow through and further work that can be done back at home base, keeping the learning fresh, relevant and ongoing.

The Whole Company
The highly individualized 3-month Think NewCo program might be neither affordable nor operationally feasible for an entire organization. Think NewCo has several options for delivering key curriculum blocks in a cost effective and time optimized way to the rest of the stakeholders. We’re happy to work with you and construct the most effective teaching experience possible within your given company’s constraints.
Open Enrollment
Open enrollment combines 1‐3 executives from several different organizations, up to a maximum total of 12 participating business leaders. Those who choose open enrollment will complete the program together.
Pros
